Ritov was the senior member of the Tirat Tzvi settlement; Tabori may be Zvi Tabori (1921-1992), later a member of LeHI.
Ritov recalls operations from Tirat Zvi, describes a planned ambush of a gang crossing the Jordan, Wingate led patrols from the front; initial lack of trust of Wingate; attack on Mejedda, which followed the death of two settlers, Wingate planned countermeasures, captured a number of guerillas, and this led to British authorities changing their attitude to him.

Confirms that Wingate did punish Arabs he suspected had damaged the pipeline; Wingate would collect together Arab villagers and read out extracts from the Tanakh, about refraining from violence and respecting property which were then translated into Arabic.
