Administrative / Biographical History

This sub sub fonds contains the actual records of jurisdiction, including the court books and the large and varied collection of cause papers. The latter relate to causes coming within the cognisance of the Dean and Chapter, either because the litigants were resident within the jurisdiction of the capitular body, or on those occasions when the Dean and Chapter exercised spiritual jurisdiction during vacancies of the archbishopric.
