Written on official paper from Holloway. Arrived at 6 p.m. previous evening in Black Maria Holloway Prison; no supper until 11 p.m. Many prisoners and staff never went to bed at all, as so many had to be dealt with. Hears Mr and Mrs Pethick Lawrence have been arrested and warrant is out for Christabel Pankhurst. Saw Mrs Hicks in prison for a moment and 'Mrs Th' [Thomas] at Bow Street. Asks for things she needs also letters; she can have as many as she gets at present as she is not yet convicted.
