Minutes of the Denby Dale Ward Branch Labour Party from December 1997 to July 2006 with the invitations to meetings sent out to members. Meetings during this period were generally held at either Denby Dale Cricket Club or Denby Dale Pie Hall. The minutes record general Party business, such as the selection of Party Officers and maintaining finances and membership numbers, as well as the Party's campaign work during local, parliamentary and european elections. Of particular note, the minutes record the Party's discussions of the Iraq War and David Hinchcliffe stepping down as MP for Wakefield in 2005 (the minutes include a letter sent by David Hinchciffe in 2003 to inform the Party of his decision).
