Scope and Content

This series contains general correspondence that could not be added to any other section. The letters mainly concern administrative matters, requests for legal advice, proposals for exhibitions and offers from members to stand on committees, or prospective art service providers. See separate list for more detail. Notable correspondents include: Peter Lanyon regarding his change of address (TGA 7043/25/13); L. (Peter) Peri regarding legal advice (TGA 7043/25/35 and TGA 7043/25/41); Richard Hamilton regarding the termination of his studentship at the Royal Academy Schools (TGA 7043/25/47); Primrose Boyd (secretary to Misha Black), regarding the possibility of Claude Rogers, Victor Passmore and Henry Moore going on a deputation to the Home Secretary (TGA 7043/25/48); Matthew Smith regarding new drawings (TGA 7043/25/49); Richard Carline regarding Otto Marcus (TGA 7043/25/60); and Patrick Heron regarding giving a talk (TGA 7043/25/75-6).
