Scope and Content

The annual accounts in this series were audited by accountant Robert Gold and later by Bird Luckin Accountants. Gold audited the accounts of the AAS from 1 January 1947; of the AAMS Ltd as an unincorporated organisation from 16 February 1943 to 24 January 1945 and as a company limited by guarantee from 24 January 1945; of the wholly owned subsidiary company of the AAMS, the Anglo-Austrian Concert Agency Ltd from April 1951. Robert Gold also acted as Auditor of the Austrian Children Reception Committee from 1 January 1948 until 31 December 1951.
