Scope and Content

This series incorporates various forms of AAS and AAMS reports for different audiences. The majority of them are typescripts; some were written by the Secretariat for the AAS Executive Committee, some by the Executive Committee for the AGM, and others were written by the Secretary for members or the wider public. Some are in English and some in German. There is also a small number of AAS and AAMS Annual Reports published in booklet form, but covering only the years 1946-1947 and 1948-1949 and 1966 [so assumed to be a very incomplete series]. There are also four copies of the report published to mark the AAS 25th Anniversary. Some of the material in this series is similar in function to that in AAS/17 (Communications with members), though the reports in this series tend to be more aimed at an internal audience.
