Scope and Content

1 The Rev. Martin Joseph Routh, doctor in divinity, president of the college of Saint Mary Magdalene in the University of Oxford, and the scholars of the said college;. 2 Elizabeth Grubb of the parish of Saint Peters le Bailey in the city of Oxford, widow. Lease for 40 years, in consideration of the surrender of a lease dated 6 Dec. 1792 granted to William Grubb, dec., of a plot of ground whereon a house and certain buildings are now erected in p. Saint Peters le Bailey in the said city of Oxford against the church. Annual rent: 30s., being the old rent of the premises. Seal (damaged). 'Donor H. Jenkins Davies.'.
