APPOINTMENT OF RELEASE touching the land in WM1667/1. The deed cities a decision in 1820 by the Governors (as above) to augment the curacy of Holyhead by benefaction with the sum of £300 out of the Grants made to them by Parliament in Conjuction with the President and Fellows of Jesus College Oxford who agreed to pay an addiontial stipend of £20p.a. The Governors decided to purchase land with the sum of £300 to be settled for the perpetual augemention of the curacy of Holyhead according to the rules established by Letters Patent and pursuant to the trusts in the Governors reposed for the distribution of the Grants. The deed cites a fine of 1817 between Robert Prichard, plaintiff and John Jones and Margaretta Ann his wife, deforceants and indentures and Lease and Release (1 and 2 August 1817) between Hugh Jones, gent. of the 1st part, Hugh Wynne Jones, clerk of the 2nd part, the said John Jones and his wife on the 3rd part and the said Robert Prichard of the 4th part and John Bradley esq.of the 5th part and indentures of Lease and Release and Settlement (1 and 2 March 1819) between John Jones of the 1st part, Henry Rumsey Williams, gent of the 2nd part the said Robert Prichard of the 3rd part and a Common Recovery suffered at Great Sessions for Anglesey 1819 wherein the said Robert Prichard was demandant and Henry Rumsey Williams tenant and the said John Jones vouchee upon trusts of the said John Jones and for his use during his life and after the determination of that estate during his life to the use of the said Robert Prichard during the life of the said John Jones and after the expiration to the use of the hiers and assigns of the said John Jones forever. John Jones had offered the property in WM 1667/1 for sale to the said Governors and a deed of Appointment and Bargain of Sale of the same date would be enrolled in the court of chancery. John Jones made covenants to his title and in particular against an annuity of £25 by the will of Owen Jones deceased to his daughter Margaret for her unmarried life. Covenant for the production of deeds by John Jones. The Governors allot the property to the Church or Chapel of Holyhead for ever.
