Other Records: Anne Family of Burghwallis

The first item here may have become part of the Anne archives as a consequence of the marriage of William John Charlton (whose descendants subsequently took the surname of Anne) and Katherine Henrietta Cholmeley of Bransby Hall in 1809 (see section DD/ANNE/1/49). Another item (DD/ANNE/6/4) relates to Bodney in Norfolk, which Michael Anne (subsequently Tasburgh) inherited on his marriage to Mary A R Tasburgh in 1810 (see DD/ANNE/1/17 above). The estate was sold to the Hon Francis Baring of Buckenham, Norfolk in 1855 (see, section/2).
