-four newspaper cuttings concerning the painting 'The Wayside Blessing' by an unknown artist, lot 216 in the auction sale held on 18 & 19 January 1922. The cuttings suggest the possibility of the painting being a lost work by Rembrandt of 'St Philip Baptising the Eunuch'

-two postcards to William Roberts from C. Hofstede de Groot,The Hague, postmarked 28 January 1922 and 6 February 1922, concerning the possible attribution of the painting to Rembrandt
