-letter from Ayerst H Buttery, painting restorer, dated 24 November 1928, concerning The Explosion at Delft painted by Rosmaer, lot 105 in the auction sale of 23 November 1928. Buttery confirms that the picture is painted by Vosmaer and not Rosmaer, as shown in the auction catalogue and in Robert's article in The Times
