Scope and Content

MacMorland wrote largely about his life as a minister, emphasising his work as a padre. Some writing is reflective, some concurrent with events described.

Administrative / Biographical History

James MacMorland wrote several chapters of his biography throughout his lifetime, which he intended to be published as a book entitled A Semi-detatched View of Life: First Person Singular. Several chapters, alongside some of his other writings, were previously transcribed and published online by Peter McWhirter at www.petermcwhirter.plus.com/macmorland
