Nasīm al-Naqqāsh and that he added illustrations from European and Indian copies. He finished the copy in 1379 AM (1663 CE). The lengthy colophon is partly transcribed in Rieu, Supplement, 9.

Scribe: Abū al-Munā b. Nasīm al-Naqqāsh. Ink: Black ink, with rubricated headings and stops in red. Decoration: Title pages in red, gold, green, blue, black and purple on fols. 1v-2r; illustration of each of the evangelists preceding their gospels; gospel headings are lavishly decorated; there are numerous illuminations of events from the gospels throughout the codex in many colours (''from European and Indian (?) models,'' see Crum, Catalogue, 324 n.1); stamps and other figures in several colours occur frequently. Binding: British Museum binding. Condition: Good. Marginalia: Section numbers in Greek letters. Other: Folios in Greek letters.
