Introductory note on Job (taqdima), fol. 49v. Job, fols. 50r-165r. Scribal notes: 165. There are two colophons on ff 49r and 165r-v. Dates are given in Arabic numbers and Coptic Epact numbers. The copy was issued on behalf of the deacon and noble (arkhon) Bū ṣaf ibn al-Shaykh al-ajl al-dīn al-Ortodoksī al-muʿallim Elias al-Barmāwī (colophons transcribed in Cureton and Rieu, Catalogus [Supp.], 794, p. 354). The date provided is 1512 AM (1796 CE).

Foliation: British Museum foliation in pencil; also Coptic letters. Lines per page: 21 lines/page. Script: Naskh. Scribe: Ibrahīm Abū Ṭabl ibn Samʿān al-Khawānikī. Ink: Black ink, with rubricated headings in red and sometimes in silver. Decoration: cross on fol. 1v, illuminated rubrics (cf. bāb). Binding: British Museum binding. Condition: Good. Catch words: In the Coptic text, in lower margin, right corner of the verso.
