Ranging over a period of 43 years, from 1866 to 1909, they contain, however, little that is revealing or sensational. The diarist is content merely to record his daily round of horticultural duties, with observations on the weather and thermometr readings; and all in quite accurate English. Only occasionally does he refer to local events and activities - preaching and literary meetings, lectures, concerts and eisteddfodau at Tynlon, Penygroes or Brynrodyn, deaths and funerals, the comings and goings of various members of the Wynn family
Diaries (based on Y dyddiadur Wesleyaidd) of William Roberts, gardener and nurseryman at Glynllivon presented by his grand-daughter, Mrs Robert Jones, School House, Llanrwst.
