Scope and Content

Typescript of autobiographical novel/documentary about childhood and growing up in Flintshire. The story is about two small boys living on a smallholding, 'Pen y Wern', in the Leeswood area, c.1920s. Their father was Jabez Trevor, who became a professional singer with the Welsh Imperial Singers, who toured the USA and Canada. The novel was published in November 2009.

Also includes a letter from the author, detailing how the typescript version differs from the published novel; and a synopsis of the plot.
