Release by William Philpots of p. Llangattock Vibon Avel, co. Mon., weaver, of a m. called Trewern and a water corn grist mill thereto belonging and two other m's called Tuy Pen y Brinne and Tuy yn y Llane in Llandegley, co. Rad., from the payment of an annuity of £20 payable to the son of Margaret, one of the daughters of one Eleanor Bevan of Llandegley aforesaid, widow, by the will (12 July 1738) of Bridget, wife of John Clarke of Blethvah, co. Rad., esq. Witnesses: William Gilbert, Sil. Williams. [References to testator's kinsman, John Meredith, of said p.
