Folder 1 "Young's Theory of harmonic tunes", a scale of musical notes, a digram of the trachea and "From Young's enquiry into the principal phenomena of sounds and musical things"; an unidentified musical score.

Folder 2) includes Lecture I: "Phonics, acoustics or the doctrine of sound". "Section IX Methods of tuning and organ and other subject" and lecture 15 "On sound"

Thomas Young (1773-1829) was an English scientist, who wrote on musical harmony.
