Scope and Content

Conwy. Silver 'Armchair' Daimler motor buses are parked outside Manchester House, London House and the Temperance Hotel. Silver Buses were based in Mostyn Broadway, Llandudno and ran trips up the Conwy Valley to Llanrwst. The driver of the front bus is David Jones, great grandfather of the donor, reputed to have driven the first car in Conwy (incidentally the same car which later knocked down his daughter Catherine Mary Jones in the first road accident in Conwy. Fortunately she lived to tell the tale.)
