Autograph letter, signed, from James L. Halliday to his daughter, Jill. ashington, Sunday 20th April [1947].
Staying weekend with Dr Blair. Saw sights of Washington on Thursday. On Friday saw Surgeon-General (Dr Parsair), dined at hotel, visited artist whose sister he met in Cincinnati. Took train to Baltimore yesterday and saw Johns Hopkins Hospital, returning for dinner at country club near Rockville. Tomorrow going to St Elizabeth Hospital and Government Health offices. Leave for New York on Tuesday.
