Recordings of interviews with ordinary people from the community of Bedlinog. Their recollections are on such subjects as day-to-day life in the village, working conditions in the mine, the effects of events such as strikes, mine accidents and pit-closures on the community, trade-union and political activities, religion, the role of women and recreation. The recordings were made 1973-1974 but cover the period 1896-1974 (c) in subject matter.
