Scope and Content

From Holloway Prison. She hears that Lady Constance (Lytton) 'is still at home ill, I am afraid pretty bad'. Discusses the girls' holidays. Mrs Armour lent her another book 'Ideals of Theosophy' by Mrs Besant. They must ask about conditions and details of regulations after the suffrage prisoners are sentenced. Refers to a tale that had got run about eccentric behaviour of one of the daughters (Written explanation of incident inserted in letter by daughter). This may be a farewell letter from some time, impossible to say.
