Scope and Content

Dundee, 13 May 1833. Enclosing report of number of patients admitted to Infirmary over five years. Preponderance of cases of typhus. Hospital supported by (limited) private subscriptions, so fever and accident victims have priority. Accidents caused by young persons' ragged clothing becoming entangled in machinery.
