Scope and Content

Also included are technical details of most of the main line express passanger locomotives including names of the designers. Some of the photographs are original but most are cut out from railway publications. There are also a few newspaper cuttings relating to the purchase and presentation of locomotive number 4472 "Flying Scotsman" by businessman Mr Alan Pegler in 1963
