All photographs are of locomotives of the L.M.S. R. and its constituent companies prior to the grouping of 1923 and locomotives of that company taken into British Railways' ownership following nationalisation of 1948. Also includes some B.R. standard locomotives and scemes from Finnish Railways cut from a magazine.
