146 white pages of screenplay, typed in black and red ink, plus: one blue page, typed, of cast list [with actors' names and addresses; Lake has written a note in pencil that this was in October 1920]; seven yellow pages, handwritten in black ink, listing sets and locations and which characters will appear in them; ten green pages, handwritten, featuring character names in the vertical left margins ticked off against sets and scene numbers on a horizontal axis; three blue pages, featuring handwritten notes in pencil on shooting dates and which characters will be needed; one white title page: 'Torn Sails – A Tale of a Welsh Village by Allen Raine. Scenario by Eliot Stannard 85 Holbein House, Sloan Square, SW1'; and one white page featuring credits subtitles, typed in red. There are 146 scenes, including subtitles. Some annotations and amendments in black ink [such as changing shot numbers]. [Eventually directed by Bramble from Stannard's script.]
