Scope and Content

Typography and armorial bearings by John Burniston, auto lithographic illustrations by Fred Whitehead. The illustrations show various manor houses including Belton House, Lincolnshire; Aston Hall, Warwickshire; Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire; Cottesbrooke Hall, Northamptonshire; Burghley House, Stamford; Haddon Hall, Derbyshire; Wollaton Hall, Nottinghamshire and Kirby Hall, Northamptonshire. Two copies have been retained, one blank and one apparently used by Library staff.
