Scope and Content

Lithographic illustrations by Michael Scott, typographic design by Douglas Martin. The illustrations show Leicester buildings with some explanatory text, including the Oxford Street Congregational Church, Wolsey Ltd on King Street, Saint Mary de Castro School, Moore Eady and Murcott Goode Ltd on Granby Street, H. and F. Tarratt and Sons on Market Street, Singer Sewing Machine Co. Ltd on High Street. The Haymarket Clocktower is a frontispiece.
