States that the new ruby is packed and ready to be sent and includes the details of the label to be attached. Mentions that he should have given another talk, but had to go to Sandgate to 'cool down' following a row at the National Gallery about the Turners. He sends his love to Dr Gunther and includes an offer to draw 'alligators or any other sort of Anti-Georgian monster'.
