Scope and Content

The papers include a copy of the lists of shareholders in the company, counsel’s opinion on the case, and a number of petitions for and against the continuation of the works, signed by residents of Whitchurch and Llandaff.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Cardiff and South Wales Manure Co. Ltd. had a works at Wauntreoda, in Whitchurch, for the manufacture of artificial manure from the bones of horses.
