Scope and Content

This class consists of a series of manuscript schedules written by Nicholson and stored together in the same file. These are lists of the poems he read at specific readings, presumably made for planning purposes and for quick reference on the day. They must have been planned considerably in advance as the final dated item (/59) is for a reading on 7 October 1988, almost a year and a half after Nicholson's death. Each list records the location at which the poems were to be read (the majority in Cumbria), the date, and the poem titles along with the collection from which they are taken and the page number. Some of the lists include a note of the length of the reading, and others also contain notes on further subjects for discussion.

In Nicholson's hand. Most of the lists are written on the reverse of folders or detached file covers.
