Scope and Content

Precept by Walter, the Abbot, and the Convent of Kinloss, to their bailies to give seisin of their lands of Strudoris [Struthers], the vill of the same and a piece of newly cultivated ground occupied by Robert Terras and Thomas Smyth alias Cow, with appurtenances, to dominus John Anderson and his wife Janet Gibson and the longer liver of them, and their lawful male heirs, with successive remainders to John's brother William Anderson and his lawful male heirs, and to the lawful male heirs of the said John bearing the arms and name of Anderson, which lands, etc. formerly belonged to the said John and have been surrendered by him.
