Scope and Content

This series contains information relating to the Ashburne Association of Past and Present Students, a group consisting of former students of Ashburne Hall, founded 1902.

Originally named The Old Ashburnian Association, it was renamed in 1945 to reflect a change in its constitution to admit current as well as former students. In 1990 the Association abolished annual subscriptions in favour of Life Membership, and in 2006 it officially opened up membership to former male students.

Papers include general and committee minutes, correspondence, newsletters, address lists and financial papers.
