- John Brown Tapp (1805-76) was born in Kingsbridge, Devon.Raised in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, he entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1829 and joined the mission to Canada in 1844. He served as President of the Canadian Conference in 1855. Source: Beckerlegge and Bourne, pp.467-468
- Thomas Green (1801-78) was born at St Tudy, Cornwall, and was converted by John Adams in 1826. He entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1829 and joined the Canadian mission in 1844. Green served as President of the Canadian Conference in 1859. Source: Beckerlegge and Bourne, pp.468
- Joseph Hoidge (1818-73) was born at Milton Abbott in Devon, and was converted in about 1838. He entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1841 and volunteered to go as a missionary to the United States in 1851. He spent nine years in Wisconsin and Ohio before joining the to Canadian ministry. - John Chapple (1812-96) was born in Witheridge, Devon, and entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1834. He volunteered for missionary work in the United States and spent six years in Ohio, before joining the Canadian ministry. He served as President of the Canadian Conference in 1858. - William Hooper (1818-82) was born in Brixton, Isle of Wight, and was converted in 1832 by William Bailey. He entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1840 and volunteered for work in the United States in 1846. He spent five years in Wisconsin before joining the Canadian ministry. - David Cantlon (1821-72) was born in County Tipperary, Ireland, and was converted by Henry Ebbott after emigrating to Canada. He entered the Canadian Bible Christian ministry in 1855 and served as Conference President in 1871 and Connexional Secretary in 1863. Source: Beckerlegge and Bourne, p.461
- George Webber (1838-1907) was born in Devon. He entered the Bible Christian ministry in 1858 and joined the mission to Canada in 1866. He served as President of the Canadian Conference in 1876 and Connexional Secretary in 1881. He transferred to the Canadian Methodist Church in 1884.
