The 4 Huddersfield parks mentioned are: Greenhead Park which featured the Holidays At Home scheme during and after WW2, Ravensknowle Park which contains the Tolson Museum, Beaumont Park which was created from part of Dungeon Wood (associated with the Luddites) and Norman Park, Birkby. Mentioned are the de Laci family, Capability Brown, Whitley Beaumont and Ramsdens.
