On the occasion of the death of Miss Emma Cons (1838-1912) (social reformer and founder of the Old Vic) to thank the Committee of the LSWS for their sympathy 'the remembrance of her... must help us all to fight on in the Cause... for which she laboured unremittingly'. Mill Lilian Bayliss (1874-1937) was the niece of Miss Cons and succeeded to the management of the Old Vic at her death. Undated.
