Entries from 12 to 15 February are in Alastair Reid's hand. Pasted into the entry for 24 October is a newspaper cutting of the cast list for a television production of "The Mystery of Thirteen" broadcast that night and based on "They Hanged My Saintly Billy"; Jack Lemmon starred as Dr Billy Palmer.
