Note that for the vast majority of the period covered by the files, J.D.L. Nicholson served as secretary. Files relate to Trades Council activities and interests, affiliations and delegates to the Trades Council, and often mention subscriptions to and content for the Trades Council's newspaper, The Sentinel.
