2. Programmes and memorabilia collected by Terry Wynn (1961-2010)

3. Magazines collected by Terry Wynn (Open Rugby: The League Magazine and Rugby League World (1980-2010))

Administrative / Biographical History

Terry Wynn was a Member of European Parliament (MEP) for North-West England between 1989 and 2006. In 1989, with the help of fellow MEP, Brian Simpson, he established a cross party parliamentary group at Brussels to promote Rugby League as a Sport and highlight discrimination of the rugby league players by Rugby Football unions.

He is a lifelong fan of the Wigan Warriors.

Between 1999 and 2006, he was president of the EU Budget Committee. He has a special interest in the use of development aid in South Africa.
