Administrative / Biographical History
The event drew a large number of guests, who were given a tour of the works and entertained by a brass band. The guest of honour, Hugh Gaitskill, Chancellor of the Exchequer, and his wife are shown in many of the photographs, and also the Mayor of Port Talbot, Richard Evan, and the Mayor of Swansea.
