Examples of work by various illustrators, including one piece of original work by Pauline Baynes; artwork for letterhead by Jan Pienkowski; prints by D.A. Goddard and Charles Pickard and book plates by Errol le Cain. This material appears to have been collected by Clodagh Corcoran [known at the time by her married name of Alborough] when she worked for the magazine 'Books For Your Children', where she managed administration, subscriptions and distribution of the magazine until circa 1978. Clodagh Corcoran also managed the bookshop Books for Your Children Booksellers in Haxey, Yorkshire, which was established by the magazine as an independent seller of children's books.
