Consists of all material housed in boxes which have an "IR" prefix to their number, the "IR" indicating that they are designated "routine" papers. The files housed in such boxes will usually have an "R" inscribed somewhere on their covers. Also included in the routine papers are 4 boxes marked "M1" to "M4", being previously unboxed routine files [the files bear an "R" somewhere on their covers], until they were transported to the archive in Manchester, [hence the "M"]. In general, the routine files were intended to enclose the day-to-day rough working papers of the ASC.
