Interviews conducted by Lady Jessie Street with Suffragettes who participated in militant action, including the reminisces of Lilian Lenton, Charlotte Marsh, Eileen Casey and Mary Leigh, describing in their own words, how they became involved in the suffrage movement, clashes with police and experiences of going on hunger strikes and being forcibly fed in prison. The actual recordings are not held at the Women's Library.
