Original watercolour and ink illustration by Harmsen van der Beek for 'Hurrah for Little Noddy!' (1950), the second book in Enid Blyton's 'Noddy' series. The illustration shows Noddy and Big Ears in Noddy's car, driving towards the horizon and passing a sign which declares "Look for the Next Noddy Book". The illustration is annotated on the front in pencil 'page 61', and on the reverse 'No. 2 , page 61'. Glue stains on the reverse of the illustration suggest it was originally surface-mounted onto another support.
