Includes typescripts for material performed by Frankie Howerd at the London Palladium (2 October 1949 and 16 October 1950) one annotated by Howerd himself. Also includes typescript for Sunday Night at the London Palladium written by Eric Sykes (3 February 1957); two additional undated copies of London Palladium material (one signed, one annotated); annotated typescript for a Royal Variety performance (1982); typescript entitled 'Frankie Royal Variety' and a copy letter from Tessa le Bars to Dick Hills, 4 June 1986 forwarding the script; and typescript for 'Frankie Howerd - Command performance', heavily annotated and rewritten by Howerd.
In addition, the box includes a bound screenplay for the production by Talbot Rothwell released as 'Carry on Up the Jungle' (1970), with three call sheets, and a bundle of scripts for 'Up Pompeii' (BBC TV, 1970).
