Sketches of characters, and characters in settings in graphite and watercolour inscribed in graphite, pen and ink with ms notes on colours and details, on six sheets of paper. Two of the three watercolours on cartridge paper mounted on paper seem to be Hockley’s ‘finished’ sketches, the pinholes in the top corners of each indicating that they had been pinned up.
