Scope and Content

Papers concerning CAFD at University of Glasgow include: minutes of meetings; points of grievance; CAFD pamphlets; 2 issues of the Association of University Teachers (AUT) magazine; case studies; statements and petitions, mainly on the subject of the hierarchical structure of the University and ways to change it to favour more student representation; and the position of Social Sciences within the Humanities.

Papers concerning CAFD at University of East Anglia (UEA) involve disciplinary action taken against a student who had been caught taking and selling drugs by the Deputy Dean of Students. The papers include UEA newsletters; letters and a signed petition by lecturers questioning the post of Deputy Dean; letters from AUT regarding the threatened sacking of those lecturers; 5 newspaper clippings reporting the students involved with drugs; and copies of private documents concerning the disciplinary action against the students which were stolen from the Deputy Dean's office and circulated on campus.
