Scope and Content

Loose material from Edward Lowbury, The ring (Birmingham: [F.E. Pardoe], 1979), consisting of a letter to Nicholson and his wife Yvonne from Edward [Lowbury] relating to: this booklet of his poems, which contains a sequence of sonnets he wrote for his wife just before their marriage; recent travels he and his wife have undertaken; the single review of his Selected poems which has appeared so far, and his belief that most current reviews focus only on the work of well-known writers.
