Files containing pre-publication material relating to the book jackets of Westall's published work. Includes material relating to cover blurbs and photocopies, faxes, photographs and assorted colour prints of cover artwork in various stages. Material was frequently annotated by Westall. Related correspondence is also occasionally included. Similar material was also occasionally filed with relevant publisher's correspondence (see RW/14/01). For books published after Westall's death, cover art and blurb material was normally kept with the relevant drafts and proofs.
